Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Mary C. Padovano, 91, of Florham Park and formerly of Chatham, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Mary was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Realtor. She loved everything about Chatham and raising her family there, where she herself was born, raised, married and worked. She is survived by her four children: Mary Toto, Michelle Mitterer, Michael Padovano and Melanie Whiteway; her seven grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of sixty-three years Michael Padovano. A Mass will be held at Saint Patrick’s Church in Chatham on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10 am. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to make a donation to St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter as Mary was a true animal lover.
