Michael J. Matt, 63 of Chatham Township, NJ, passed peacefully on October 22, 2014. Born in Milwaukee, WI, raised in Wausau, WI, Michael has been living in Chatham Township since 1978. Michael served in the U. S. Air Force from 1970-1974, serving in England and Germany. He was an officer for JEM Charitable Foundation in Chatham. Michael is pre-deceased by his father Joseph A. Matt. He is survived by his mother Eileen Cecilia Matt (nee Gagan), his wife Mary Matt (nee Dunn), father of Andrew Michael and Daniel Patrick, brother of Thomas Matt and his partner Carl Knerem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 12 pm at Corpus Christi Church, Southern Blvd., Chatham Township. Visiting hours, Friday, 7-9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s name may be made to Morristown Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit, 100 Madison Ave, Morristown, NJ 07962.
