Kotula, Michael, 70, passed away on Thursday, January 5th, 2017. A Service will be celebrated on Monday, January 9th at 10:30 am at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 2-5 pm at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave, Union.
Born in Elizabeth, Michael has lived in Union for over 40 years. He served his Country in the US Navy. Devoted to his family and friends, he was a dedicated father and loving grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands, but above all, he adored his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Michael Kotula, he is survived by his daughters Christine Kotula and her husband Sean O’Hare and Michelle Congdon and her husband Joshua; his loving grandchildren Talia, Mason and Aubree Congdon; sister, Margaret “Peggy”. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Union Emergency Medical Unit – 2493 Vauxhall Road, Union, NJ 07083.
