~~Michael Tokar, 95, of Whippany passed away at Care One in Hanover on June 10, 2015. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Ukranian Catholic Church, 60 N. Jefferson Ave, Whippany on Monday, June 15th at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd in Whippany on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with a Parastas service at 7:30pm.
Born and raised in the Ukraine, Michael came to the United States in the early 1960’s. First settling in Morristown he later moved to Whippany. Michael worked for many years as a forklift operator for the Whippany Paperboard Company and spent some time working for the Morris County Mosquito Commission. A long time, active member of St. John’s where he had served as a past treasurer, Michael also enjoyed gardening.
Michael was the beloved husband of over 50 years to Anna and was the loving stepfather of Henry Dacko.
