Nghiep Tien Vu, 61, passed away on May 9, 2024 in Franklin Park, New Jersey. He was the husband of Thanh Uyen Vu and the beloved father of Minh-Huy and Gia-Han. He was born in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
He came to the states in 1981 and graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in 1986. Within three and a half years, he completed his degree and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He was employed at Johnson & Johnson as an IT Manager for the past seven and a half years.
He was an active member of St. Cecilia Church in Rockaway, New Jersey as the Vietnamese Catholic community’s chairman. He will be remembered as the passionate, dedicated, kind, loving, and bright persona member of the cherished community.
He is survived by Thanh Uyen, Minh-Huy and Gia-Han, his brothers and sisters, his beloved nieces and nephews, his cherished friends, and his adored Vietnamese Church community in Rockaway.
The viewing will be held on May 17th at 6:00PM at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home (49 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ, 07981). The funeral service will be held on May 18th at 10:00AM at St. Cecilia’s (90 Church Street, Rockaway, NJ, 07080). The cremation will be held at Somerset Hill Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
