~~Otto Peter Karasiewiz, 74, of Union passed away on April 8, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel, 1212 Kelly St in Union on Saturday, April 16th at 10:15am. Interment is private. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A longtime resident of Union, Otto spent his entire career in the telecommunications field including Western Electric, AT&T, Bellcore and Telcordia Technologies. He retired in 2005. Otto enjoyed golf, fishing, garage sales and flea markets. He loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter.
Otto was the beloved husband of 47 years to Virginia. He was the loving father of Christine Mota and her husband Phillip. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter Melanie Rose and his brother Eugene and his wife Stephanie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Otto’s memory may be made to the NJ chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association at www.njapda.org.
