Patricia Bridgman of New Providence, New Jersey passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.

Pat was born on March 14, 1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Clara (nee Edelman) Ryan.

Pat worked as a registered nurse at Lenox Hill Hospital and was the former Public Health Nurse in New Providence, NJ. She was a civic volunteer and Eucharistic Minister in the Catholic Church. Pat was very active in the community for most of her life. She was a strong supporter of Overlook Hospital and devoted countless hours to its fundraising and community service initiatives. She was a past president of the Clark and New Providence PTA’s and former Board of Elections Worker.

Pat enjoyed playing bridge, golf and was a life member of Canoebrook Country Club. She was an intrepid traveler. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Al Bridgman; four children, Gayle Santucci and husband Joseph, Stephen Bridgman and wife Pamela, Nancy Lysinger and husband John, and Jill Moriarty and husband Ed; and eight grandchildren: Andrew, Stephanie, Alison, Meaghan, Cole, Kaitlyn, Shane, and Ryan.

Friends are invited to visit on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 309 Springfield Ave., Summit, NJ 07901. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Christ the King Church, 16 Blue Mill Road, New Vernon, NJ 07976 on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. An interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to 2014 Area Annual Fund drive, National Cancer Research Center, 1025 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Suite 1012, P.O.
