Patricia Z. Deza, 72 passed away on December 11, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Born in South America, Puno, Peru she came to the United States in 1980 and lived in New York City where she received her degree from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and worked as a Pattern Maker and Fashion Designer for high-end designers where fashion was her passion. Many of her clothes walked the runway during New York Fashion Week.
Patricia later moved to West Orange, NJ before retiring in Livingston. In her retirement Patricia loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren and family. She was a parishioner of St. Philomena’s in Livingston, NJ. She enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and traveling internationally in Europe and South America.
Beloved wife of the late Rafael Coral Arevalo II, and survived by their 4 children: Patti Arduino and her husband Albert, Jr., Sandra Coral-Eder and her husband Michael, Richard Coral and his wife Maria, and Ralph Coral and his wife Giovanna, all of New Jersey.
Cherished grandmother/Abuelita of 6 grandchildren: Derek Arduino, Amelie and Daniella Eder, Brandon and Dylan Coral, Ashley Coral. Beloved sister of Lourdes Deza, brother Miguel Deza, and the late Lili Deza, Ceasar Deza, Enrique Chavez, Ernesto Deza. Caring aunt of many dear nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 18th at 12 noon at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover with inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name by clicking HERE or mailing to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
