Patrick A. Tomasulo Jr., 76, of Chatham, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Morristown Medical Center. Born in Newark, Pat was raised in Nutley, and lived on Long Island for several years before settling in Chatham in 1969.
Pat was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Parcells Council #2086. He was a member of the Chatham Jaycees and Chatham Fish and Game. Pat earned a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State College. He began his career in sales with several publishing companies, including McGraw Hill, Harcourt Brace, and Prentice Hall. Later, he was an Account Executive for General Binding Corporation. Most recently, Pat worked for Primerica and Oceanlink USA. Pat’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling, sports, music, comedies, politics and reading thriller novels. Pat was cherished by his family and friends, who appreciated his great sense of humor, kindness, and humility.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10am at St Patrick’s Church 85 Washington Ave., in Chatham. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. There will be a visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Wm A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home 345 Main Street, Chatham.
Predeceased by his wife, Catherine, and son, Gregory; Patrick is survived by his loving children, Bonnie Mackewicz, and her husband Paul, and Douglas Tomasulo and his wife Pamela; beloved grandchildren Daniel and Patrick Mackewicz, and Gregory Tomasulo; He is also survived by his brother, Jack Tomasulo, sister Betty Jane Tomasulo, and many other loving relatives.
