Patrick M. LaMalva was born in Hoboken, NJ on September 29, 1929. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph & Carmela LaMalva (Iovane), sisters Nancy Zampino (Michael), Lillian Francone (Mario) and grandson Raymond LaMalva.
Patrick is survived by his wife Teresa, sister Agatha Vorsanger (Robert), sons Matthew (Jessica) & Mark (Amelita), daughters Victoria (George) and Elizabeth Hickey (Jason), granddaughter Grace , cousin Mildred Valletutti, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Patrick served in the US Army during the Korean War and returned from his military service to complete his undergraduate education at Georgetown University. Subsequently he received an MBA from Temple University and had accomplished careers with RCA, Philco, Ford, Citibank and the Computing Science Accreditation Board.
Patrick was active in the VFW and served as the Commander for VFW Post 10013 in Stamford, Connecticut for a number of years.
During his lifetime, Patrick was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time traveling and at home with his family. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:15 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills. Interment St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 11th from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. Springfield, NJ.
