We mournfully announce the passing of Paul Ambrose Dorgeval, Jr., “Uncle Paul”, age 83, of Bushkill, PA. Paul passed away on November 8, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones.
Paul was born to Paul A. and Nancy (Evans) Dorgeval on March 28, 1939. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Nina Delabar and Susan Dorgeval and survived by 2 sisters, Catherine Schito (pre-deceased husband Albert) and Joan Redlitz, and husband Joseph. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him.
“Uncle Paul” was so loved by his family and cherished by his friends. His contagious laugh, abounding faith and positive attitude will never be forgotten. Paul was a proud graduate of Seton Hall University “1957” and was awarded a degree in Accounting. He served 2 years in the United States Army including a tour in Korea and retired from the Federal Government after 35 years of service. He was a world traveler and a tremendous story-teller. He loved to talk about his love of books, nature and trains. He had the kindest heart and the sweetest spirit which will live on in all of us. Rest in Peace Sweet “Uncle Paul”
