Peggy Klymko

Peggy Klymko, 90, of Rockaway Township, New Jersey, passed away on July 29th, 2021

Born in Ukraine and raised in Poland, Peggy and her husband Ivan and their three daughters emigrated to the United States in 1967 and settled in Newark, New Jersey. Peggy also lived in Irvington before moving to Rockaway in 1986.  She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Peggy enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching her favorite television shows and soap operas.  She was well known for her larger-than-life humor, to include creating elaborate pranks on her family. Peggy will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family and her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peggy was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Klymko.  She was the loving mother of Lesia Klymko, Marika Lodziuk (Husband Ihor), and Donna Klymko Bilanych.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Markian Lodziuk, Stephan Lodziuk, Adam Klymko (Wife Lindsay), Adriana Bruzzese (Husband Alessandro), and Tania Bilanych. Peggy is also survived by her great grandchildren, Alessio and Andreus Bruzzese and Logan and Aidan Klymko.

The visitation will be held for family and friends at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home (49 Whippany Rd, Whippany, NJ) on Sunday, August 1st, 2021, from 4pm to 8pm. The Parastas service will be held at 7pm.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 2nd, at 10am, at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church. The church is located at 60 North Jefferson Road, Whippany, New Jersey. Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Cemetery located at 280 Main Street, South Bound Brook, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
