Peter Michael Conroy, III

Peter Michael Conroy, III, passed away in Orlando, Florida at the age of 60. Born in Morristown, Peter was raised in Morris Plains. He graduated from Bayley Ellard School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Kings College in Pennsylvania. Peter married Karen L. Jakimec on October 27, 1989. In addition to Morris Plains, they made France their home for 3 years before settling in Denville. Peter worked for Sealed Air Corporation, and more recently for West Rock.

Peter was a man who loved life. A golf enthusiast, he belonged to the Rockaway River Country Club. He was passionate about good food and fine wines and enjoyed traveling the world. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and Giants, and of course, Penn State. But it was Peter’s love for his family and friends that made him such a special human being. All those whose lives he touched will never forget him.

Peter was predeceased by his mother, Joan. He is survived by his father Peter M. Conroy, Jr; his wife Karen; their children Peter IV, Callie and Christi; His sisters Joan Fitch and her husband Paul, Catherine Dormer and her husband Kevin, Maureen Mangels and her husband Wayne, and Lucille Cote and her husband John; brothers in law Steven Jakimec and Paul Jakimec and his wife Diane. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews who love their Uncle Peter dearly.

There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2-7pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10am at St. Virgil Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains. Cremation will be private. Funeral:
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10am at St. Virgil Church, located at 250 Speedwell Avenue in Morris Plains, New Jersey.
Committal:
Cremation will be private.
