Peter DiCosmo, of Mountainside, passed away at Overlook Hospital in Summit on Sunday, May 29, 2022. He was 73.

Son of the late Carmine and Giuseppina DiCosmo, Peter was born in Vallata, Italy. He owned DC Truck Body, LLC in Elizabeth and was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle RC Church in Springfield. Peter was a simple man, hardworking and generous. He loved his family deeply.

He was the beloved husband of Maria Angelina DiCosmo; loving father of Christina, Peter Jr. and his wife Maryann, Laura Coppola and her husband Frank, Gina Bellante and her husband Michael Jr., his four beautiful grandchildren: Marissa, Luke, Dante and Alexander. Peter is also survived by his four siblings: Maria Luisa Rinaldi, Antonio, Carmine and Michael. He is predeceased by his brother Elio.

Committal:
An entombment will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Union
