Philip J. Kehl, 65, of Short Hills, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his home.
Philip was born February 14, 1950 in Ridgewood, Queens, the son of Philip J. and Grace Catalano Kehl. He was raised in Rosedale, Queens and attended Regis High School in Manhattan before graduating from Middlebury College in 1972.
Philip enjoyed a long career as an equity research analyst, most recently for Morgan Stanley. In 2002, he began a productive and fulfilling retirement. He was a dedicated family man and life-time fan of the New York Yankees.
Philip is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Anne Kehl (nee Lahey). He was the devoted father of sons Philip J. Kehl and wife Erika (nee Jermusyk) and Andrew J. Kehl. He is also survived by sister Kathleen A. Kehl and granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Kehl.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave. Short Hills, NJ 07078. An interment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Regis High School Annual Fund.
