Loving Father

Raymond J. Cole, Sr., 96, of Chatham, NJ, passed away quietly on February 28, 2015 with his family. Mr. Cole was a United States Army Veteran, who went through the Normandy Invasion into St. Lo on D+10 during World War II. After being discharged, Mr. Cole found employment at DuPont Inc., Newark, NJ, where he had a successful career as an accountant for 38 years. He moved to Chatham in 1951. He became a member of the BPOE of Madison, NJ, acting as Secretary for several years; and the Florham Park Rifle & Gun Club. Where he loved to shoot skeet. Mr. Cole’s joy of life, kindness and fairness, impacted everyone who came into his contact. Raymond is pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Helen A. Cole. He is survived by his son Raymond J. Cole, Jr. of Florham Park, NJ and his daughter, Sherry and son in law Sean Curry and grandson Jaden Curry of Point Pleasant, NJ. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 1:30 pm from the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ. Visiting hours, Thursday from 11 am to 1:30
