Renae Ann (Lorah) Johnson, 84, of Boyertown, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ.
Born in Emmaus, PA she was the daughter of the late Mae (Schantzenbach) Lorah and Russell W. Lorah. Renae graduated from Emmaus High School in 1954 and moved to Boyertown, PA where she lived for 65 years. She worked at Wren & Co. in Boyertown for over 45 years and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Renae was a Past Noble Grand of the Laurel Rebekah Lodge No. 593 of Boyertown. Throughout her lifetime Renae was devoted to, and cherished her time with family and friends. Renae was an avid reader and enjoyed baking and gardening.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years, David E. Johnson, daughter, Tambria, wife of William O’Shaughnessy of Chatham, NJ and son, Ted Johnson of Quincy, MA; two grandchildren, William O’Shaughnessy of Washington, D.C and Caitria O’Shaughnessy of Tucson, AZ; brother, Dean Lorah of Emmaus, PA, and sister, Cynthia (Lorah) Ward of Macungie, PA; a large extended family, friends and neighbors.
She was predeceased by brother Carlton Lorah and stepmother Sarah (Fick) Lorah.
Due to the on-going pandemic services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Renae’s memory to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512.
