~~Richard J. Rembert, 93 of Union, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. A veteran of the US Army, Central European Campaign who served during WWII, Richard retired as Lieutenant Colonel from the Reserves after 25 years of service. Richard had a 40 year career with NJ Bell, and was a member of the Pioneers. He was also a member of the VFW.
Predeceased by his wife Florence O’Neil Rembert, son Richard J. Rembert, Jr and daughter Robin J. Rembert; Richard is survived by his daughter in law Joann L. Rembert; grandson Richard J. Rembert, III, granddaughter Heather L. Mohn; and 6 great grandchildren.
