Richard “Dick” Kohn, 70, of Cedar Knolls, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Born in New York City, Dick was raised in Potsdam New York, where he lived until entering the Air Force where he served for 8 years over seas After his time in the service, he lived in the italy before returning and settling in Cedar Knolls in 1988. He was a member of the Outdoor Single Friends Club of Morris County. He was especially fond of his beloved yellow lab companion, Mona.

Dick is survived by his partner, Patty Hemsley; son David Kohn and his wife Cheryl; grandchildren Kaytlyn Marie and Alexander David; sister Linda Savod; and brothers Robert R. Kohn, and Steven and Michael Savod.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 12noon-4pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany. Cremation will be private, to be interned at a veteran’s cemetery at a later date
