~~Robert James Briscoe “Bob”, 71, of Whippany passed away on October 26, 2016. Visiting hours will be held at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, in Whippany on Saturday, October 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Interment is private. Born in the Bronx, the son of the late Robert and Veronica Briscoe Mulholland, Bob had also lived in Lindenhurst, L.I., Morristown and Chester, NJ, before moving to Whippany 22 years ago. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Bob worked for the Hanover Department of Public Works for 35 years until his retirement in 2012. He loved dogs and dog shows, birds and birdhouses and was accomplished at gardening and floral decorating.
Bob was the dearest brother of Rita Buchter and her husband Bob. He is also survived by his niece Barbara Jean Massa and her husband Gregory and nephew Robert James Buchterand his wife Mia as well as great nieces and nephews, Madison and Robert Massa and Christian and Christopher Buchter and his faithful companions, Talulah, Minnie and Bently.
