~~Roger F. Brill, 86, of Chatham, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at home. Born and raised in Newark, Roger has lived in Chatham for 57 years. Roger was a technician for AT&T Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ for 38 years. He belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America, and was a member of the National Guard Service. Sergeant, Company B 113th Armored Infantry Battalion. Roger was an aviation enthusiast, and an auto racing fan who enjoyed reading, gardening and electronics. Very detail oriented, Roger was a fine craftsman. He was a very patient man, and enjoyed travelling the world with his loving wife Gloria.
Predeceased by his brother Richard; Roger is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gloria (nee: Nazzaro); children Carol Jayne and her husband Don, Susan Fetherston and her husband David, Douglas and his wife Patricia, and Scott and his wife Teresa; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and his sister, Marilyn MacWhirter.
