Rolf "Augie" Augenstein

Rolf “Augie” Augenstein, of Clark, passed away on August 26, 2022. He was 91.

Rolf grew up in Irvington and was a graduate of Irvington High School. He served in the U.S. Army in a Heavy Artillery unit during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for the American Can Company and then the Union Township Board of Education.

Rolf was a life-time member of the Union Elk’s Lodge #1583 and enjoyed watching baseball, football, and hockey.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Shirley (nee Mayer); loving father of Glenn and his wife Patricia; devoted Opa to Jacqueline and Scott.

Visitation Hours:
Friends may call at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., Union on Monday, August 29 from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral:
A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m.

Committal:
An entombment will follow immediately following the service at Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Union.
