Ronald Edward Hammer, Sr., 71, of Hightstown, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Union, NJ surrounded by his family.
Ronald was born on July 30, 1941 in Elizabeth, NJ. He was the son of the late Victor and Marie (nee Doering) Hammer.
Ronald loved traveling, dancing, golf, bowling, and especially fishing. He also had a passion for cars.
He is survived by his loving fiance’, Ellie of 11 years. He was the loving father to son, Ronald E. Hammer, Jr. and wife Patty of Berkeley Heights, NJ, daughters, Michelle and husband Rick Wilson of Union, NJ, and Heather Hammer of New Providence, NJ. He is also survived by two sisters, Carolyn and Cheryl, five grandchildren, Lauren and fiance’ Shane, Ryan, Nick, Alyssa, and Tucker, and several nieces and nephews.
