~~Rose Anne Citro (nee Boscia), 92, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at home.

Born and raised in Newark, Rose Anne graduated from West Side High School and attended Essex County College. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 41 years. A resident of Springfield since 1978, Rose Anne was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Church, where she was the founder of their Seniors Club and a member of the Columbiettes. She was also a member of the Springfield Seniors Club. What she loved most of all was spending time with her family and entertaining.

Predeceased by her husband Philip J. and siblings Louis Boscia, Frank Boscia and Nicoletta Fritts; Rose Anne is survived by her daughters Anne Krauth and her husband Larry of Northville, NY; Michelle Adcock and her husband Daniel of Bridgewater; and Joan Bratsch and her husband Nicolaos Cacouris of Springfield; grandchildren Philip Adcock and his wife Catherine of Pensacola, FL, Christopher Adcock, Stephen Bratsch and Allison Bratsch.

There will be a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11am at St James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield. Entombment will follow at St. Teresa’s cemetery, Summit. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 2-7pm at the Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield.
