Rosemarie Marucci

Rosemarie Marucci, (nee Rinaldy), 94, of Lakewood, NJ formerly of Union, NJ passed peacefully on August 14, 2022. Born April 2, 1928 in Orange, NJ to the late Hugo and Angela DeNiscia Rinaldy. Rosemarie was raised in Hillside and graduated from Hillside High School. She later resided in Union from 1960-2018 with the last four years in Lakewood, NJ. Rosemarie worked at the Stop & Shop in Union for 38 years in various positions. She was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Church and a member of the Union Senior Club. Rosemarie loved baking, sewing, knitting and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed entertaining family and friends during the holidays. Rosemarie loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Rosemarie is predeceased by her husband, Daniel Michael Marucci. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy and George Pizzuta, Geraldine and Stephen Fiacco, Barbara and Steven Maffei, and six grandchildren, Daniel and Renee Pizzuta, Matthew and Gina Fiacco, Sarah and Hannah Maffei and many nieces and nephews. Rosemarie had three sisters, Cecelia and her husband, Alfonse Gesumaria, predeceased, Elizabeth Bell and her predeceased husband E. Jonathan Bell, Geraldine Brenner and her husband Paul, and her surviving sister-in-law, Francine Marucci.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:30 am. Interment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Rosemarie’s family would like to thank the staff members of Bridge to Rediscovery at Leisure Park and Serenity Hospice for the loving care they provided her over the past two years.
