~~Rosemary Schwartz, 90, of Chatham Township passed away at the home of her daughter in Milford, NJ on March 22, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd in Chatham on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery in Madison. Friends are invited to visit at Wm. A. Bradley & Son, 345 Main St, Chatham from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the mass.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Rosemary moved to Chatham in 1946. A longtime parishioner and member of the Altar Society at Corpus Christi, she was also a supporter and volunteer of the Sisters of Christian Charity, Mallinckrodt Convent in Mendham. Rosemary enjoyed gardening and cooking. She will be fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her family, friends and church.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Donald Schwartz. She was the loving mother of Barbara Gartside of Savannah, GA, Rosemary Buczek of Milford, NJ, Kathleen Ward of Pittstown, NJ, and Margaret Macaoay also of Milford, NJ. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers Claude H. Spies and the late Ignatius Spies, and sister the late Helen Patterson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary’s memory may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Dr., Flemington, NJ 08822.
