Rosina Ruggiero, 92, of Springfield, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, February 03, 2015 at her daughter’s home.
Rosina was born on January 24, 1923 in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donato and Maria (nee D’Andrea) Agostinelli.
Rosina was a parishioner of St. James the Apostle Church. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Pasqualino Ruggiero. She is survived by a daughter, Maria Bruno and late husband Dean Bruno, sons, Frank and wife Michelina, Donato and wife Filomena. She was the grandmother to Ramona, Alessandra, John, Dario, Daniel, Joseph and Rosanna and the great-grandmother to Annalisa, Gabriella, Ilaria, Eliana, Matteo, Gianna, Antonio, and Arabella. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Filomena Circelli and Giuseppina D’Achille.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 06, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at St. James the Apostle Church, Springfield, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosina’s name may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
