Ruth Tomczyk, 92, of Kenilworth, NJ, passed away on July 22, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave., in Union on Saturday, July 24th at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Friends are invited to a visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am prior to the service.
Born in Atlantic City and raised in the Vailsburg section of Newark, the daughter of Adolph and Myrtle (Spawn) Hoff and step-daughter of Fred Bader, Ruth had also lived in Cedar Grove and East Orange NJ, before moving to Kenilworth in 1962. In her younger years Ruth worked at Bamberger’s in Newark. She was a member of the Iron Bound Seniors, loved to travel the world, enjoyed old movies and listening to classical music.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Tomczyk. She was the loving mother of Myrtelynn Tomczyk and her husband Timothy Day. She is also survived by her cherished grandsons. Eric Day and Ryan Day.
