Born and raised in Chicago, the daughter of Isadore and Helen (Miller) Pruzansky, Sandra was a long time resident of New Providence. A graduate of Hyde Park High School in Chicago, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and her Master’s from the University of Wisconsin. Sandra spent 30 years as a behavioral research scientist at Bell Labs in Murray Hill. She retired in 1989 in order to devote full time to a career that integrated her lifelong interests in movement, mindfulness and spiritual growth as a Rubenfeld Synergist, Tai Chi instructor and Mindful Movement instructor.
Sandra was the beloved wife of Gregory Henderson. She was the loving mother of Thomas S. Bricker and his wife Cathie, Lisa Day Fields and her husband David, and the late Pamela C. Bricker. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Blake Maloof, Isabella and James Bricker, Jacob and Olivia Fields and her dear sister Gloria Taussig.
