Sat Yeun Chin, 74, of Morristown, NJ, passed away on August 22, 2024. Visiting hours at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. in Whippany will be on Saturday, August 31st from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
Born and raised in Morristown, the son of Ten and Chun (Fong) Chin, Sat graduated from Morristown High School and later received an automotive certificate from Morris County School of Technology. He worked for several years at CIT Group and later became a small business owner of a local restaurant in Morristown. A great handyman, Sat also enjoyed watching movies and keeping up on current events. He is fondly remembered as a caring, kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who was devoted to his family. He had a great sense of humor and easily made friends wherever he went.
Sat was the beloved husband of Siu Y Chin. He was the loving father of Michael Chin and his wife Meredith, and Cheryl Keyburn and her husband William, III. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Evelyn Chin and Jamie Chin, and his dear sister, Arlene Chin along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Sat Ott.
