Sharon Rose Piscitelli, 65, of Old Bridge, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. Born in Hackensack, raised in Saddlebrook, Sharon lived most of her life in Old Bridge before retiring to LBI. She has recently lived in Watchung.

A gifted art teacher in Old Bridge for 25 years, Sharon always had a smile on her face and kind words to say. She was an active member of the Pine Shore Arts Association and the National Art Association. She was also a member of the Women’s Club and NJEA. She enjoyed art, painting, singing, dancing, laughing, traveling and cooking. Sharon loved life. Most important to her were her family, friends, and God.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick Piscitelli, Sr. and sister in law Bella Cody;, Sharon is survived by her son Patrick Piscitelli, Jr.; daughter Jodi Van Slyck and her husband John; granddaughters Julia and Jessica; brother Joseph Scillia; Aunt Mary Grandolf; sisters-in-law Debbie Piscitelli, Elise Wawrzonkiewicz, and Colleen Scillia; brother-in-law Bob Cody; nieces Erin Scillia and Kaitlin Cody and nephew Michael Scillia.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10am at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham. Cremation will follow at Somerset Hills Crematory, Basking Ridge.
