Stanley “Jig” M. Wickham of Springfield, NJ passed away on September 23, 2022. He was 81, and fought a long, hard battle with Alzheimer’s.
Jig was born in Middletown, NY and grew up in Linden, NJ. He graduated from RCA Institute and went to work at NCR. He spent his entire career at NCR working in various positions. He was a trusted and loyal employee that mentored numerous individuals.
Jig loved life and enjoyed many activities. One of his early favorites was riding his motorcycle in the woods in NJ and NY. He moved on to riding bicycles and could be seen on a daily basis riding around town for hours. He had a passion for golf and racquetball. He loved staying at the family cottage on Wolf Lake where he would sail, swim, hike and constantly be doing something. He was never one to sit still for long and was quite handy around the house.
Jig loved his family and had an infectious sense of humor and was never one to miss a good party.
He is survived by his wife Fran, of over 55 years; sons Chris and David and grandchildren Dylan, Kyle, Wylder, and Zoey.
