Stella J. Bebout, 94, of Buffalo, New York, and more recently residing in Livingston, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ.
Stella was born on November 4, 1925 in Corning, New York. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Giuseppe and Francesca (nee Brusats) Bavisotto.
Stella worked for the Williamsville School District, East Amherst, NY for 30 years as the cafeteria manager. She was an amazing cook and especially known for her Italian cookies. Stella was known by many as the “bingo lady” and enjoyed playing games with family and friends while enjoying a glass of wine.
Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene W. Bebout, Jr. She was the loving mother of Eugene W. Bebout, III. and wife Lori and cherished grandmother of Emily, Wyatt, Sam and Grace. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Walter. Stella was predeceased by her siblings; Peter, Joseph, Thomas, Samuel and Frank.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:45 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Babies Heart Fund.
