Susan Blaich Daggett, 73, of Chatham Borough passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on November 9, 2021. Visiting at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street in Chatham will be on Thursday, November 18th from 4 to 8pm. A funeral service at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, 240 Southern Blvd, in Chatham will be on Friday, November 19th at 10am. Interment will be private.
Born in New York City, the daughter of Irving and Merle (Shelling) Blaich, Susan had lived in Chatham Borough since 1953 where she graduated from high school in 1966. After raising her three children, Susan taught Nursery School at the Chatham United Methodist Church for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and cheering them on at their various sporting events. She was an avid reader, loved pop culture and would brighten any room with her warm smile and amazing sense of humor.
Susan was the beloved wife of 50 years to Tom. She was the loving mother of Ted Daggett (Carolyn), Tim Daggett (Jamie) and Katie Bealer (James). She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Avery, Addison, Tucker, Carter, Danny, Jack, Charlie, Gus and Harry and her dear sister, Bonnie Puskar. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Chatham Emergency Squad, 45 Spring St., Chatham, NJ 07928.
