Devoted wife of the late William (Bill) L. Jacobsen, daughter of Jeanne Michael and author Stanley Ellin. An envoy of women’s rights, she held positions at MGM and the New York Herald Tribune, ultimately becoming one of the first female executives in construction. A reader, dancer, and lover of the arts, she had an encyclopedic knowledge of the stories behind many theater and film productions. She was passionate and generous. A friend to all animals. A New Yorker. She is survived by her daughter, Tae Ellin.
