Susan Riggs Groel, 76, of New Vernon, passed away suddenly at her home on December 12.
Born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and Gladwyne, PA, Susan had also lived in Short Hills before moving to New Vernon in 1968. She was a graduate of Smith College in Northhampton, MA. Susan was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of New Vernon where she served as Deacon, and was a former Trustee of the Pingry School.
