On Thursday morning, January 14, 2021, Susan Scotti, loving wife and mother of 3 passed away at the age of 64. Susan was born on February 11, 1956 in Summit, NJ to Ralph and Anne Mehne. She grew up in Union, NJ where she met her loving husband of 44 years, Frank Scotti. Together they graduated from Union High School and were married on October 17, 1976 at Saint Michael’s Church in Union, NJ. They moved to Cranford the same year they married, where they raised their 3 children Melissa, Brian and Kristen.

Susan loved being outside and had a passion for flowers and gardening. She never passed up the chance to spend a summer day at the Jersey shore or enjoy a lobster dinner. She was an outstanding cook and loved bringing people together with food. Susan and Frank shared a very special love for each other and built an amazing life and family together. They shared a love for traveling and saw many beautiful places together. From traveling as a young couple cross country to their daughter’s wedding in Italy, their time spent exploring new places with those they love meant the absolute world to Susan.

She was an incredibly supportive mother, always attending every dancing competition, soccer, basketball, and softball game. She truly was her children’s biggest fans and never let them go a second without knowing how proud she was of them and how much she loved them.

Susan truly was a selfless person, always putting her loved ones and friends before herself. Her warmth and kindness were felt by every person lucky to have known her. She fought a very difficult battle the last few weeks but is finally at peace and will always be watching over us all.

Susan Scotti will be forever missed by her adoring husband Frank, brother Ralph and wife Linda Mehne, daughter Melissa and husband Tim Rondhuis, son Brian, daughter Kristen, brother-in-law Mark and wife Adrianna Scotti, sister-in-law Alberta Albanus and husband Leonard Cacciatore, nieces and nephews Jeffrey and wife Julie Albanus and their two children Jennifer and Jason, and Joseph, Arianna, Vincent and Christopher Scotti, cousin Nancy Gallo and many lifelong friends.
