Susan Weller

Susan Weller soared into her next adventure on September 23, 2013. In her life, Susan was blessed with extraordinary gifts; a loving heart, standout charm and whip smarts, beauty and business savvy. She was fierce and her love of life infectious. She deployed all of her gifts in service of her greatest joy – her three sons and, more recently, their wives and children. As the dynamic founder and past director of The Children’s Academy of Springfield, Susan also gave thousands of children a great start in life with a top notch Montessori education. In her next act, she thrived as a real estate entrepreneur. She especially loved building and designing new homes. During her life, she resided in Madison, New Providence, Short Hills and Tewksbury, NJ. Recently she enjoyed sun, fun and many friends living in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was part of the first graduating class at New Providence High School in 1960 and a graduate of Lycoming College. She is survived by her sons; Daniel M. Hurley Jr. and wife Laini Hurley, Peter Hurley and wife Yelitza Hurley and Ryan Hurley and wife Nadira Hurley; her grandchildren Oriana, Mia, Liam, Siena, Julian and Carmen. Susan’s spirit is flying high in heaven now, right beside her loving parents, Marie and Frank. We love you forever mom!
