Our dear mother, Sylvanna Mirtil, passed away in Newton, NJ on December 19, 2022 at the age of 69. Born on May 8, 1953, Sylvanna lived a meaningful life as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister. Throughout her life, she enjoyed sewing, dancing, singing in choirs, attending church, and spending time with her immediate and extended family around the world who will miss her dearly and always cherish their memories of her.
Sylvanna is survived by her three children; Gaite, Max and Anna, her five grandchildren; Sregor, Ashley, Serena, Alexandra and Christian, her great-grandson Elias, her sister Angelida, her brothers Elie and Melieve and her former husband Lebien. She was predeceased by her parents, Lexina and Suporteil, and her two brothers, Lenor and Lenoir. In her final years, Sylvanna was also provided care and assistance by loving caregivers. The family gives them and everyone who cared for Sylvanna their greatest and sincerest gratitude.
A viewing will begin at 9:00am and followed by a prayer service at 10:00am on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, Whippany, NJ 07981. The interment will take place following the funeral services at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
