Thomas L. Julian of Whippany died at Heath Village in Hackettstown on Sunday, June 24, 2012. He was 91. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Whippany for 45 years before moving to Heath Village in 2011.
Thomas is survived by his wife Doris (Steudle), son, Thomas F. Julian of Cedar Knolls, daughter, Dale Julian-Bierce & her husband Richard of Succasunna and grandchildren, Molly & Jamie. He is also survived by his sister Roberta Curto of Mechanicsville NY & Miami FL, brother, John Julian of Whiting, sister-in-law Evelyn Borshay of Winter Park, FL and many nieces & nephews.
Thomas was owner of Anode TV in Madison until retiring in 1995. WWII Veteran, he entered the US Army prior to the start of the war, served for five years. He was in Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of the Lyons in Clark and loved to play golf.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 8, at Hildale Park Church, Cedar Knolls. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the ARC, PO Box 123, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.
