Veronica Josephine Moore, 82, of Stirling, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Overlook Hospital.
Veronica was born on March 26, 1938 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Irene (nee Sabo) Dvorovy.
Veronica eventually end up in Norman, Oklahoma while raising her family and worked as a receptionist at the University of Oklahoma for over 22 years.
She was a past treasurer of the Long Hill Senior Center and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Stirling, NJ. Veronica loved God, life and her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bingo, puzzles and was an avid reader.
Veronica was the loving mother of Robin Hollandsworth (Brett), Randa Wallisch (Timothy), Rori Moore and Ramsey Moore (Jennifer). She was the cherished grandmother of Misha (Lance), Rachel (Chris), Cody, Brianna, Mara, Ethan, Lydia, Kerrigan and great-grandmother of Lucien, Silas, Deacon and Elliot.
A graveside service will be 11:00 am on Monday, October 19, 2020 at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery, Stirling, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
