Vincent Benjamin Landolfi, 86, of Union, passed away on January 28, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union on Monday, February 3rd at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 10am to noon prior to the service.
Born in Newark, the son of Carmen and Rose (Siciliano) Landolfi, Vincent was a lifelong resident of Union. He graduated from Union High School, class of 1952, where he was a member of the track team. Vincent proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He joined the Union Police Department in 1962 and retired as Sergeant in 1987. Vincent was a past president of the Township of Union PBA Local 69 and the Union Jaycees, and was a certified firearms instructor. A member of NJSIAA, Vincent loved officiating high school sports including football, wrestling, baseball, swimming and softball.
Vincent was the beloved husband of 57 years to Lois. He was the loving father of Rick Landolfi and his wife Suzanne, Drew Landolfi, and Susan Walsh and her husband Jerry, cherished grandfather of Jamie Carhart and her husband David, Gerard Walsh, Emily Walsh, Richard Landolfi, and Meghan Walsh and dear brother of Carmella Orlando. He is also survived by 3 sons from a previous marriage, Carmen, Vincent and Philip and their families.
