She was a personnel director with Griffith Laboratories in Union for many years and after retirement, worked at a flower shop, also in Union. Violet was a longtime parishioner at St. Michaels and an active member of the Union Seniors. She enjoyed her parakeets and loved ballroom dancing, flowers, and gardening.
Violet was the beloved wife of the late Edward W. Stavac. She was the dear sister of Beatrice Giacobbe. She is also survived by her nephews, Richard Stavac and his wife Dorene and Ronald Stavac and his wife Beverly as well as many loving relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Andrew Giacobbe. Violet was always very grateful for the tremendous support she received from her friends and neighbors. Without their generosity and help she would have never been able to stay in the home she loved.
