Virginia Ann Rahoy, 97, of Roselle Park (formerly of Mequon, WI.) passed away on August 6, 2024. Visiting hours at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. in Union will be on Tuesday, August 13th from 9:30 to 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at Assumption Church, 113 Coolidge, Pl. in Roselle Park at 11:00am. The interment will be held in Mequon, WI.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Martin and Antonia (Vielgut) Dorn, Virginia had lived in Mequon, WI for many years before moving to Roselle Park in 2014. In her early years she worked as a payroll clerk at Rex Chain Belt, Co. in Milwaukee then left the work force to raise her family as a homemaker and caregiver. A past parishioner at Lumen Christ Catholic Church in Thiensville, WI, she currently attended Assumption. Virginia enjoyed dancing to big band music, reading novels, jigsaw puzzles, traveling the US and camping. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and for her devotion and care to her youngest, Down Syndrome, daughter as a parent and advocate.
Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Ervin Rahoy. She was the loving mother of Diane Rahoy, Michael Rahoy and his wife Gabriella and Nancy Rahoy. She is also survived by her cherished grandson, Alex Savitt. In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s memory may be made to the ARC of Union County, 70 Diamond Rd., Springfield, NJ 07081.
