Walter Brody, 86, of Whippany, NJ, passed peacefully on January 28, 2015. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Walter has lived in Whippany since 1970. He served proudly with U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Walter was a Transportation Manager for Allied Chemical in Morris Township for over 30 years, retired over 20 years ago. Walter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine Brody (nee Bartolomeo), father of Linda Orlando and her husband Joseph and grandfather of Daniel Orlando. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 11 am at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Mt. Airy Rd., Basking Ridge. You may meet the family at the funeral home at 10 am. Visiting hours, Friday, January 30, from 5 to 9 pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany, NJ.
