Wanda F. Brzustowicz, 97, died peacefully on August 27, 2021 at Juniper Village under Hospice Care. She had suffered from progressive chronic congestive heart failure.

She was born October 10, 1923 in the Bronx, where she grew up.  Playing the trumpet was one of her childhood passions. She graduated Washington Irving High School, then went on to Hunter College and Columbia University with an advanced degree in mathematics. She taught math until she decided to dedicate her efforts to raising her family. She married Dr. Stanislaw H. Brzustowicz and lived in Jamaica, NY and New Hyde Park, NY before settling at Juniper Village in Chatham.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ludwig Szeglowski and Michalina (Okulicz) Szeglowski, her sisters Jean and Antoinette and her husband Stanislaw.

Surviving are her four children Robert, Linda, Thomas, and Micah; five grandchildren Alex, Katherine, Caroline, Allison, Johanna and her great granddaughter, Ayla.
