Warren Kipp Cadmus, II
07/31/1938 - 01/22/2022

Warren Kipp Cadmus II, husband, father, friend of Chatham Township, NJ passed away at home on January 22, 2022 after short battle with a pancreatic cancer. He was 83.

Warren was exceptionally kind, compassionate and caring and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Warren was born in 1938 to Warren and Marion P. Cadmus in Hackensack, NJ. He grew up in Ridgewood, NJ where he made life-long friends. Soon after, he began a lengthy career for Citigroup — working at various locations throughout New York City.

In 1967, he met Modesta “Putsy” Schleck — the love of his life.  They wed in 1969, going on to have two children, Sarah Engel Cadmus-Kyryczenko and Lauren Elizabeth Cadmus. Warren lived on West Point Island in Lavallette, NJ and finally settled in Chatham Township in 1979.

After retiring in 1998, Warren spent time at his second home in Pennsylvania, enjoying the quiet of the lake in the backyard after years of working in the city. He also loved to take rides down-the-shore to get lunch with family and friends. On the weekends he enjoyed just relaxing in front of the television watching football and movies with his faithful dog, Zoey.

Warren is survived by Modesta Elise Cadmus, Sarah Engel Kyryczenko, John Kyryczenko, and Lauren Elizabeth Cadmus, Anita K. Neilsen, Mary Louise Babbitt, and Connie Stevens, as well as many nieces and nephews.
