William Edgar Gormley

William E. Gormley, 88 of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN passed away Friday, September 28, 2012. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marianne Gormley, parents, William and Catherine Gormley, sister, Therese Gormley Biel, brother, John Allen and sister-in-law, Anne Masterson Gormley. Survived by his beloved wife, Jane Brand Gormley, daughters, Regina Kelly and son-in-law John Kelly, Janet Keebler and son-in-law Al Keebler, son Bill Gormley and daughter-in-law Laurie Gormley, grandchildren, Terri Kelly, Aimilia Jane Gnospelius, James and Angie Kadenas, Christopher and Dan Gormley, great grandchildren, Jonathan Kelly, Aidan and Luke Gnospelius, Christian, Aidan, Jonathan Gormley and Kalin Gormley. He was a 1949 graduate of Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, where he earned a BA in business administration. Bill was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Stewart’s Root Beer in Paramus, NJ for 20 years. Bill retired in 1986 from Marshall Realty in Lake Wallenpaupack, P.A., where he worked as a real estate broker. He retired to Osprey, FL and later relocated to Tellico Village in Loudon, TN. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic church in Lenoir City, TN.
