William H. Biebel, 85, of Union, NJ passed away in Morristown, NJ on Thursday, September 29, 2022. He is survived by his son, William, of Bradley Beach, NJ, and his sister, Lois Miller, of Sparta, NJ. William was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Lois, in 2015. He is also predeceased by his parents, William C. & Emma Biebel. He is also survived by his niece, Jennifer (Anthony) Perno of Merchantville, NJ, a nephew, Brian (Lauren) Miller of Sparta, NJ, and many great nieces and nephews.

William proudly served in the Navy from 1955-59, and soon after leaving the service, he became a police officer, serving the Irvington Police Department until his retirement as Lieutenant in 1993.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 3^rd, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave, Union, NJ. On Tuesday, a funeral service will begin at 10am at the funeral home to be followed by a burial at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William’s memory to the Fraternal Order of Police or the National Kidney Foundation.

On Tuesday, October 4th, a funeral service will begin at 10am at the funeral home.

Committal:
Burial following the service at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, at 11am
