William J. Stahl, Sr of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on April 16th, 2020. He was 83 years old. Born on Jan. 6, 1937 to Otto Stahl, Sr. and Elsa Dettling, Bill grew up in Newark, NJ, and moved to Irvington, NJ where he met his wife Joan Handschuh. They were married for 56 years. He had four children, Edward Stahl, and his wife Carolynne, Kim Stahl Patterson and her husband David, Sherri Stahl Book, and William Stahl Jr and his wife Suzanne(Lily). Bill is also survived by his brothers Richard Stahl, cousin Karl Heilig, and the late Otto Stahl Jr. He has 6 grandchildren, Bruce Book, Jr., Brittany Book, Brinalynn Book, James Mastrobuono III., and his wife Kodi, David Patterson Jr., and Ashley Vieira Bernardino and her husband Michael. He has 4 great-grandchildren, Jackson Boehm, Avery Boehm, Nichole Mastrobuono, and Tyler Bernardino.
Bill was the owner and president of National Manufacturing Co., Inc. in Chatham, NJ for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was the most loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather around. Throughout his life, he accrued many special friends that gave great times to him and his family. He will be immensely missed by his family and dear friends.
Only immediate family may attend a service on May 1st at the Wm. A Bradley and Son Funeral Home, at 345 Main Street in Chatham, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family would love to have donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
